Pearl Drops Teeth Whitening While You Sleep!

Teeth whitening while you sleep?! YES PLEASE! No mess, no silly mouth guards where you cant talk..a beauty sleep must have!

I had been searching high and low for this product, no where seemed to have it by me, Boots, Superdrug, supermarkets...all out of stock! I finally got my hands on some at a Boots store while I went shopping with my sister in Leeds!  I've used numerous teeth whitening products, I dread to think how much I have spent trying to find an affordable teeth whitener. Products such as Crest Strips, Polanight...but none seem to work as good as this little beauty!
I've been using this product for about a week and a half and wow, I am so impressed by the results! My teeth are much much whiter and my gums look a lot healthier! I am really pleased :) I was a bit worried that it would make my teeth super sensitive like crest strips but I am so glad it doesn't! It actually feels nice on my teeth! Amazing!
It comes in a little tube, a bit like a lip gloss tube which is really easy to use! After brushing your teeth at night, you just pop a pea sized amount onto your finger and massage it onto your teeth and gums then leave it to work its magic over night! I try to avoid eating or drinking after I put it on! If you don't fancy sleeping with it on you can just pop it on for 30 mins through the day! It has a minty taste too it which is quite nice, it doesn't feel awful on your teeth as it just sinks into them and also a big plus is that your not left with any residue in the morning...if anything your breath is fresh and mintaaay!
At just £2.33, you really can't go wrong with this product! Teeth whitening can be so expensive but when there is little products like this on the market that are just as effective they are so worth it!

Have you tried this? What do you use to whiten your teeth?

Beautiful CanvasDesign Review

When i was given the opportunity to receive a canvas from CanvasDesignsUK I was so excited! I've been wanting a canvas of Alfie for so long but couldn't decide on a photo as I have so many of him and they're all my favourite! I finally decided on three which had been taken by my best friends Auntie who is a very talented photographer, we took him to the park around Autumn time and took so many amazing photos of Alfie surrounded by leaves!
I emailed them across to a lovely girl called Loren. I thought I'd send all three and let her decide which one to surprise me but to my amazement she offered to do all three of them! I was over the moon! A big white van pulled up outside my house this afternoon with a giant parcel, I instantly knew what it was and I just couldn't wait to see the beautiful canvas' of my little Alfie.

WOW! The quality of them is amazing, I could't believe it!
I wasn't too sure what to expect with them being my first ones but they are just incerdible. As you can see from the original photo and the canvas, it isn't blurred or grainy and the size of them are just perfect! Now I've got to find a little place for them on my walls!

Please go visit them here :) The prices of these start from just £7.99 with free delivery!
And if you would like 10% off your order use the code below -

Have you had any photos printed on to a canvas? I'd love to see them!

Benefit High Beam vs Technic Highlights

Hi everyone! I've always been a big fan of highlighters, especially Benefits High Beam which has been part of my everyday make up routine for as long as I can remember! I just love the fresh, shimmery, glowy look it gives you. So when a similar bottle caught my eye in Bodycareb called High Lights for an incredible £1.99 I just had to buy it to see if it was anything like Benefits High Beam!

As you can see from the photo, Benefits High Beam is more of pinky colour and its a thicker consistency and Highlights is more of a looser creamy colour but once they've both been blended into the skin they look very very similar! High beam may just look a tad more natural.
The whole  packaging design is more or less the same, the shape of the bottle, the font, even the brushes are quite similar too! Technics have deff copied Benefit here!
High beams brush is quite thick and High Lights is sort of like a nail polish brush! But both equally as easy to apply, which I love!

Overall I think it's a fab dupe for Benefits High Beam! I'm so glad I bought it as it's a much bigger bottle than the High Beam that I have and highlighters last months so I'm sure this is going to last me a while! At £1.99 you really can't go wrong! I know a lot of people including myself just can't part with £19.50 for high beam s if you're on a budget this product is for you! If you don't have a Bodycare near you, you should be able to find it on Ebay or Amazon!

What are you waiting for? Go go go!

Samy's Fat Hair: Did it work for you?

Hi lovelies, I bought a few products from the Samy Fat Hair range a couple of weeks ago while they were on offer, I think they were around £2.50 each, so I thought why not! I'd been eyeing up these products for a while in Superdrug, the bright red bottle really stood out to me and thought I'd give them a go and see if I really do get 'Fat' hair!
I love trying new products that will give my hair volume and a bit more life!

Samy Fat Hair Amplifying Shampoo and Conditioner

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner about once or twice a week in between what I normally use. They are both quite a thick consistency and found that it takes me a bit longer to lather my hair up so I work it in as much as i can, pop my head under the shower for a second and then use some more to get it just how I like it!
The smell...hmm, its quite a strong smell! It isn't bad but its not amazing either! It reminds me slightly of the hairdressers smell, you know what I mean?
After I had got out of the shower and combed my hair, it did feel a bit tangled and not as soft as it usually would and I found that my hair took longer to dry than it normally would especially at the back! Which I really hate :( I just cant be bothered to sit there with the hair dryer all day!
But I must say, after I had dried and styled my hair, it did everything it says on the bottle! It felt thicker with a whole lot more volume! Slightly dry...but my hair looked much fuller!
Overall I've got a mixed opinion about it, it's not a miracle product but it was lovely to know that they are 100% vegan, sulfate and paraban free, no nasty chemicals in there! I probably would buy it again if it was on offer and use it once a week.. not as an everyday shampoo and conditioner! I'd use it if I was going on a night out and doing a lot of back combing!

Pros
Affordable
Volumizes and thickens (depending on your hair type)
Sulpahte and Paraben free

Cons
Product too thick
Doesn't lather well
Drying
Not an everyday shampoo and conditioner

Have you tried any of the Samy Fat Hair Range? Did they work for you?

Tips for teething babies with a cold!

Hi lovelies! Its been a few days since my last post, I feel like I've had no time to do anything! When Alfie has a little nap, I think right I'll post on my blog..then I end up falling asleep before the laptop has even turned on! Zzzz! Anyway as you all know the weather at moment is horrendous, so I'm sure there is a lot of snuffley bums out there suffering from a cold! Where does all this rain keep coming from, its driving me insane! I can't wait till Summer comes! Sunglasses, shorts, tan, water fights, cocktails..oh bring it on! :)

We've been quite lucky as Alfies only had one cold so far! Even though it was a scary time for me and my partner as he had Croup at the same time, which is a really bad cough and made it so difficult for him to breathe! Doctors don't recommend cough medicine for babies though due to the side effects so we had to try other methods to help him get better!.

So this post is all about my tips and tricks for babies with a cold and what we use, also babies that are teething too! Both at the same time can be hard work!

Sophie La Giraffe

Alfie absolutely loves his Sophie giraffe! She has been a massive help whenever he's been teething or just wanted something to have a chew on, he even falls asleep with her sometimes in his hand its adorable! Shes easy to grip, very soft, flexy and made of natural rubber, which is 100% safe and non toxic for babies to chew and teeth on. Alfie loves to chew her legs or her ears, he can sit there for hours with her! When she is squeezed she makes a little squeak and that makes it a little bit more fun for him! I love the little story behind her fact she has been around for more than 40 years!
The design and packaging is really lovely too, she even comes with a birth certificate! I really recommend Sophie for anyone with a baby, not only is she a teether but shes a toy too. I'm so glad we bought her! You can get one here :)

Calpol

A definite must have in the house! Calpol is just magic! Although I don't like to give Alfie medicine unless he really needs it. When he went through a stage of having a cold, croup and teething this was a saviour for us it really helped him get better and sleep better too! I always keep a bottle in his changing bag just incase. My mum always said nothing else worked for me when I was younger, so he must take after his Mummy!

Calpol Nasel Spray

Another really good help for babies with a cold. Alfie found it hard to breathe whilst eating so we used this 10-15 mins before a feed to clear the airways.

Snuffle Baby Vapour rub

This is a another great product to help with babies breathing! You only need a tiny bit as its quite a strong smell. I'd pop some on Alfies chest before he went to bed to help him breathe better! Love the name of it too, it really helps with those snuffles!

Teething rings and Teething gel

Cool teething rings are great for soothing those gums and reducing the redness in Alfies rosy cheeks, I pop a bit of teething gel on too to help numb the gums. It can be abit slippy and slidy using the gel, and the fact alfie likes to eat it instead doesn't help haha! But still a must have!

Fluids

Lots and lots of fluids are essential! Alfie was off his milk when he had a cold and would only drink water. He was really thirsty throughout the day and through the night so we had to keep up with the water demand to keep him hydrated.

I've listed a few more tips and tricks below which really helped Alfie -

Running the shower on the hottest setting for 10 mins, and sitting in there with him whilst its all steamy to try clear the airways.

Raising the cot mattress slightly with a book or rolled up towel underneath.

Cuddles, and lots of them! We all love a cuddles and extra attention when we are poorly so this really did help relax him and take his mind off it.

Hope these little tips helped, if you have any please let me know! :)

My fave skincare products at the moment :)

Hi lovelies! Here is a quick post on my fave skincare products at the moment! I love trying and testing new products out as I'm always looking for that one product that's going to make my skin flawless! My bathroom is absolutely overloaded with products at the moment I really need to have a sort through but as you all know 'operation sort out' is a nightmare! So here we go...

L'oreal Paris 3 in ! Purifying Micellar Solution £3.33
Love this product! It is the first Micellar Water solution I have tried and when I first saw the product I wasn't sure what it was and had no expectations about its performance. Wow! How pleasantly surprised I was. This is such an amazing product and works really well on my skin! I've not been using it for that long but I saw results in about 3 days! My skin is quite sensitive and can break out with certain products which makes me really warey but I took a risk with this and wow so glad I did as its really started to perfect my skin!
What sold it for me was that it is a 3 in 1, dissolves make-up, unclogs pore and tones the skin! Not to mention the price, £3.33, amazing! The packaging is simple yet gives a clean and professional aesthetic!
It's so easy to use.
I apply the solution to my face with a cotton wool pad and wipe away make up from my eyes first then onto the rest of my face until i am make up free! It removes make up brilliantly and my face feels so fresh after using this. Its just like water, really soft and gentle on the skin. I also like to use this product on a morning to 'wake my skin up' and whenever I feel my skin needs a little lift. I hope they keep it at the same price, what a bargain!

Simple Kind To Skin Pore Minimising Toning Celanser £4.99
I have been using Simple since I was a teenager and have pretty much all the range! They all have their good qualities but this is my favorite to use by far as you can see I've only a bit left! It soaks nicely into my skin, a really soft, gentle cleanser, full of vitamin goodness leaving my skin feeling clean refreshed and of course pore minimised! I use this to remove any remaining makeup and It simply does what it says..see what I did there ;) Nothing but love for this!

No7 Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator £11
This does a really good job at exfoliating my skin! I use it around twice a week and it leaves my skin so smooth and soft. I use this in the shower so it all comes off and you.re not left with little grains on your face. You only need a tiny bit to gently work into your face, don't scrub it in as you'll find it can be a bit harsh and will leave you with red marks! After using this I could see a difference really quicky. My skin tone is a lot more even, red marks reduced and my skin has a glow to it. Wonderful! I will be posting more about No7 as I have many faves from their range!

Garnier Moisture Match Wake Me Up £2.98
I've tried a few moisturisers in the past and they've just not worked for me at all which is so frustrating but now I've found this one and finally something that agrees with my skin! I use this morning and night and love how it makes my skin feel, I can't get enough of it! I love the fact that it is a hydrating gel, almost like a serum, really light and easy to apply...a little bit goes a long way! Its perfect for dull or tired skin as once applied gives you a bit of a shiny glow, definitely wakes your face up! Its fab at getting rid of any flaky dry patches too and makes my foundation goes on sooo much better!

Soap & Glory Dr Spot  £5.33
I've tried so many spot treatments, lotions and potions over the years that claim to clear spots, reduce redness, targets blemishes..blah blah but they've never worked until now! Look no further than this little beauty, its a miracle worker! I just apply it at night to affected area and overnight it dramatically reduces any spots that I have! Never have I known a treatment to work as quickly and effectively as this one! I also like this product because it doesn't dry my face out and I'm not left with bits of the product on my face in a morning! Hate that!
I have Two cons on this product as much as I do love it.. Once applied it can sting quite intensely which I really didn't like but it does wear off after a few minutes! And secondly is the tube, once opened it spills out really quickly but other than that amazing product! I wouldn't want to be without it now :)

Sudocrem £5.49
I have a giant tub of this as it comes in handy for both Myself and my little Alfie! I just use this on any red patches or scarring that I may have on my skin, its a really good healing cream and can be used for all sorts of different things! A handy product to have!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub & Carmex £2.99
I've done a post about the Lush Bubblegum Scrub here :) and I apply carmex afterwards to sooth and moisturise my lips! I love the slight tingly feeling on my lips and it lasts for ages!

Can you recommend any fab skin products? I'd love to know what you're skincare regimes are!

My favourite lip products!

Hi lovelies, I thought I'd do a post on my current favourite lip products!
As its still quite wintery here in Yorkshire, I'm trying my best to look after my lips and stop them from becoming dry and chapped! I hate it when that happens! Some of these lip products are part of my night time routine and some are ones that i wear through out the day. Going to keep this one nice and simple and let you know what I think to them all. Even though there is a few more, I'm sure I'll share these with you in the future!... So here are my go to lip products :)

Bubblegum Lip Scrub by Lush Cosmetics £5.50

This is a new product for me! It caught my eye quite a few times in the store with it being bright pink and thought I really want to try that but never got round to buying it as i didn't know too much about it! But anyway I finally bought it! And I'm so impressed with it, it does exactly what it says and tastes so yummy too! The scrub is made up of caster sugar and jojoba oil which gently exfoliates your lips and scrubs away any dead skin, leaving your lips super moisturized - which is great especially in these winter months! (hurry up summer!) This weather is driving me crazy I just hate being cold! So this lip scrub has been a savior and kept that dryness/chapped look away.
I use this before i apply my make up in a morning, so when I  come to apply my lipgloss or lipstick it just glides on and stays on all day. I also use it at night after taking all my make up off, I polish and buff my lips with this and then apply a balm. Super soft lips YAY :)...Oh and of course great as a late night snack so scrummy! I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!

Have you tried this lip scrub or any of the other flavors? Let me know :)

Sleek Barely There £4.99

My FAVE! Sleeks Barely There is a gorgeous nude peachy/orange colour, perfect for day or night. The lipstick is thick, moisturizing and highly pigmented (so you only need a little at a time, you don't need to layer it), which are all great qualities! It comes in a black, compact, matte bullet which I really like, the packaging of all sleek make up is really nice! The whole feel of this lipstick is lovely, I cant get enough if it as it just glides on like a dream and finishes off my make up nicely. Definitely an affordable product!

Which Sleek lippy do you love?

Sexy Mother Pucker XXL Extreme Limp Plump £10

Being a great lover of the original SMP I decided to give this product a try as I wanted a more plumped look. And as usual the product does just what it says on the packet! As soon as you apply a thick layer you can feel it tingle, it's much more intense than the original and really feels like its working! SMP leaves your lips moistened and glossy as well as plumped lips!

Botox anyone? ;)

H&M Lipgloss £2! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This lipgloss is amazing! Its one of my best finds yet! H&M dont get enough credit for their cosmetics, theyre so affordable and look fab! This is just a lovely pink, girly, glossy colour! Its slightly glittery too which may put people off but its honestly such a lovely colour, I had the girls in MAC asking me what I had on my lips, so many lovely compliments and for just £2, wow! can not go wrong. Another thing I love about this product is the soft brush you apply it with, much easier to gloss the outline of your lips! I always have this in my handbag! :)

Are you going to get yours?

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lip Balm £1.99

I am a massive fan of Cocoa Butter, so this is a must have for me! Smells and tastes delicious! I like to use this after my lip scrub, it works a treat! I prefer this one to any of the original ones and find the Vaseline tins much easier to open that other brands I've had, is this just me? I do think this lip blam is quite thick, but it still works well seals in any good moisture in your lips!...I've also used it on dry patches too, around my lips, as a skin care routine and within a week or so these have vanished!

Hope you enjoyed my post, I'd love to know what your favourites are!
